Rental Policies
Check in for week long rentals:
3 pm on Saturday
Check out:
10 am on following Saturday; leave keys on table.
Payment Procedures
- Contract to be sent upon verbal acceptance
- Down payment of 25% of rental is due no more than 3 days after verbal acceptance
- Remaining amount of rental due 8 weeks prior to date of arrival
- Sales tax of 5.5%
- 1-Bedroom rental security deposit of $250.00 is due a minimum of 8 weeks prior to arrival
- 3-Bedroom security deposit of $500.00 is due a minimum of 8 weeks prior to arrival
- Down payment and any other payments will be forfeited if rental is cancelled by lessee
- Room Tax 8%
Occupancy
- No smoking inside cottage. Smoking (or smoke smell) in cottage will forfeit your security deposit.
- No tents or campers on property.
- No pets (boarding available in Waupaca)
- Maximum Occupancy:
- 3-Bedroom: 11 people
- 1-Bedroom: 4 people
- More than above amount is $100 per person with prior approval. With no approval, security deposit will be forfeited
Pontoon Boat: If included with rental of cottage
Contract will need to be signed.
- Should you use our pontoon boat, any damage to pontoon is the responsibility of the renter. Costs over security deposit to be paid for by renter.
- Must follow Wisconsin boating regulations.
- No pets on pontoon
- No smoking on pontoon - No tubing with boat
- Boats have cushioned seats like a standard pontoon boat.
Things to Bring:
- Charcoal/charcoal lighter/matches
- Pillows/towels
- Additional toiletries
- Bikes
Included:
- Comforters, blankets, and sheets
- Dishes, glassware
- Cookware
- Charcoal grill
- Vacuum
- Use of 2 kayaks (used by both cottages)
- Firewood
- Use of 1 paddleboat (used by both cottages)
- Canoe (used by both cottages)
